V-Ray 3.4 is unable to render sphere maps directly from Revit so the scene must be exported from Revit and the rendering done in 3DS Max.

- From the main menu in Revit, choose R → Suite Workflows → 3DS Max Design Interior Rendering or 3DS Max Design Exterior Rendering as appropriate for your scene.
